I couldn't have asked for a more perfect entry point into Austin-area theater than Jesus Christ Superstar, which opened on May 29 at the Georgetown Palace Theater! Not only do I love playing and conducting this score, but the cast, crew, and staff at the Palace have been a delight from day one.
The Palace is a historic venue in Georgetown that suffered some catastrophic flooding a few months ago. Thanks to generous community support, donors, and volunteers, they were able to repair, renovate, and make some long-term upgrades that should keep the doors open for years to come!
